The Toren is prominently placed amongst the grand 17th century canal houses of the Keizergracht. They form a perfect backdrop to the striking transformation of the hotel. Well known interior designer Wim van de Oudeweetering took charge of creating a chic, theatrical and slightly mystical ambience, in which style, warmth and comfort unite. The 37 guest rooms are all different and vary from small and elegant to spacious and stunningly beautiful. The choice of room resides with the guests; all will find however a hotel atmosphere which inspires feelings of relaxation and well being.
The hotel has 37 luxurious and comfortable rooms, with Special deluxe rooms and Suites with Jacuzzi for two. All rooms and conference rooms are equipped with all modern facilities including air conditioning and wireless Internet.

Additional information about The Toren
The practical Single rooms with shower are charmingly furnished and attractively priced. If you would like more space you should opt for a Double room (for single use) with bath and shower. Or treat yourself to a room with canal view or Deluxe room, offering the opportunity to enjoy in a whirlpoolbath and a view of the canal or garden. Extra luxury are offered by the Special Deluxe rooms and Suites with a Jacuzzi bath for 2!
Amsterdam Central Station is a ten minutes walk from the hotel and public transport to the most popular museums is located at only 100 meters from the hotel. Dam Square with the Royal Palace is considered the heart of the city. On and around the Dam you will find the Bijenkorf, Magna Plaza and the Kalvertoren. Just behind the hotel begins the famous Jordaan.
Here you will find numerous small restaurants, bars and shops.
Unless otherwise indicated, the room rates include breakfast which is optional and served at € 14.00 per person. Children under 12 years pay € 7.00.
All rooms offer free Wifi and free Nespresso.
Cancellation- and additional conditions The Toren
Hotdeals and/or The Toren specials are charged on the day of booking. Hotdeal reservations are non-changeable and non-refundable. Should you have to change or cancel you reservation, please contact the hotel a.s.a.p. in order to find the best solution.
For all other reservations:
Your credit card information is requested in order to guarantee your reservation until you arrive in the hotel. Payment will be done in the hotel upon arrival or check-out.
Reservations for maximum 4 nights:
Reservations for maximum 4 nights may be cancelled free of charge up until 48 hours prior to the arrival date. In the event of a no show or when cancelling within 48 hours of the arrival date, we will charge a one night No show or Cancellation fee.
N.B.: Reservations for a Special Deluxe room or Suites for up to 4 nights: the booking may be cancelled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival date. Change or cancel within 7 days before arrival, then 100% of booking value will be charged.
Reservations for 5 nights and more:
Reservations for 5 nights and more may be cancelled free of charge up until two weeks prior to the arrival date. When you cancel please ask for a cancellation number. When cancelling within 14 to 7 days prior to the arrival date we will charge 60% of the reservation value as cancellation penalty. Cancellations within 7 days prior to the arrival date will be charged in full. In the event of a no show or when cancelling within 7 days prior to the arrival date, we will charge the full length of stay as a No show or Cancellation fee.
Reservations with an arrivaldates on which a Minimum Stay Policy applies, can not be changed into a stay below this Minimum Stay Policy.

Reservations during this congress may be cancelled free of charge up until 2 weeks prior to the arrival date. When you cancel please ask for a cancellation number.
When cancelling within 14 to 7 days prior to the arrival date we will charge 60% of the total reservation value as cancellation penalty.
Cancellations within 7 days prior to the arrival date will be charged in full. In the event of a No Show or when cancelling within 7 days prior to the arrival date, we will charge the full length of stay as a “No Show” or “cancellation” fee.
Reservations during Eastern (05/04 - 09/04), Whitsun (24-05 - 27/05) or Queensday (29th + 30th of April)New Years (27/12 - 01/01), : may be cancelled free of charge up until 7 days prior to the arrival date. When you cancel please ask for a cancellation number. When cancelling within 7 days before the arrival date we will charge 100% of the reservation value as cancellation penalty. In the event of a No Show we will charge the full length of stay as a No Show fee.
