Planetron Cinedome in Dwingeloo
Just outside of Dwingeloo, on the edge of the National Park Dwingelderveld, you will find Planetron Cinedome. A special attraction, if only by the design of the building. On a large dome-shaped projection screen of 350 sqm, the largest screen in the North Netherlands, dazzling performances are shown.
Planetron Cinedome also organizes star viewing nights. In an evening program for young and old, you will visit the fascinating world of stars and planets.
Besides the large screen Planetron Cinedome offers much more. The space exhibition, in which Dutch companies demonstrate their contribution to international space, is constantly expanding. There is also information about stars and planets, of course, and there are a number of movies shown about space shuttles and the history of telescopes and you can freely surf on the digital highway.
