Lake of Veluwe
The Veluwemeer is an elongated lake between the Veluwe and the province of Flevoland. It is one of the lakes that is created after the reclamation of the IJsselmeer. The lake is fed by the Hierdense Beek.
The Veluwemeer plays an important tourist function, mainly in water and beach recreation. There are numerous campsites and marinas on the lake. It is also important for water management and shipping. It has a water area of 3250 hectares.
